API extensions: the good, the bad, and the ugly
API extensions are a standard way to extend the functionality of APIs and expose them to users. However, some of the OpenStack API extension mechanisms are perceived as clunky and error-prone. I'd like to use this session to brainstorm ways of creating and supporting an extension mechanism that would be simpler and easier to use; if our proposal is good enough, we can implement it as part of Glance's v2 API (per the Glance PTL).
